TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (February 24, 2021) - The No. 15 Salt Lake Community College volleyball team earned a sweeping Scenic West Athletic Conference victory Wednesday.
SLCCÂ earned a 3-0 sweep over Colorado Northwestern Community College, winning the match by set scores of 25-9, 25-12, 25-9. The win boosts Salt Lake to 8-4 overall and 2-0 in the Scenic West, keeping the Bruins atop the conference race.
It was a tale of two performances, with the Bruins holding a team hitting percentage of .384 compared to CNCC's -.020. Salt Lake finished with 47 kills on 45 assists as a team.
Halle Livingston finished with a team-high 13 kills for SLCC, while
Sidney Frith posted 24 assists.
Sammi Johnston had a trio of aces for Salt Lake. Â
The Bruins will host nationally-ranked USU Eastern in a match Friday. The contest will begin at 6:00 p.m. inside the Lifetime Activities Center.Â
