TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (October 7, 2021) – The No. 6 Salt Lake Community College Volleyball program extended one of the nation's longest winning streaks Thursday.

SLCC earned a 3-0 win over the College of Southern Nevada, winning by set scores of 25-9, 25-18, 25-7. With the victory, the Bruins are now 18-3Â overall and 4-0Â in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.

The Bruins controlled the match through excellent all-around play, hitting .398 while holding CSN to just -.010. Similarly, SLCC committed just 5 hitting errors as a team, finishing with 38 kills and 11 service aces. Salt Lake posted 37 assists and 53 digs.

Elena Wallace led Salt Lake with 9 kills, while
Laura Fiabane posted 23 assists.
Hikialani Kaohelaulii finished with 18 digs.Â

Salt Lake will play a mammoth home match Saturday, hosting No. 4 Snow College inside the Lifetime Activities Center. The match is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.Â
