The Salt Lake Community College Volleyball team lost for the first time since early September, dropping a 3-1 decision to No. 9 USU Eastern. Set scores in the loss were 16-25, 21-25, 25-20, 19-25. The loss drops SLCC to 20-4 overall, with a mark of 6-1 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.Â

SLCC had one of its lowest hitting averages of the season, hitting just .095 while USU Eastern hit .232. The Bruins had 48 kills in the match, with
Jasmyne Love leading the team with 12 kills.
Laura Fiabane had 40 assists, while
Hikialani Kaohelaulii had 35 digs.Â

Salt Lake will host Colorado Northwestern in a match Saturday.
