Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (November 30, 2018) - The buildup to the holiday season may be in full swing but don't plan on the No. 8 Salt Lake Community College men's basketball team getting distracted.

The Bruins extended their winning streak to eight games on Friday in Florida, picking up an 86-74 victory over Broward College to move to 9-1 in the preseason. Salt Lake controlled early and often, moving to 2-0 in a tournament full of nationally-ranked opponents.

Josh Colon led SLCC with 17 points, with Tyler Bennett scoring 15 points. Aaron Burt had a double-double of 13 points and 13 rebounds.

Salt Lake will play its final game of the tourney on Saturday, with a game scheduled against Florida Southwestern Community College. The Bruins will play at 2:00 p.m. EST.
