Twin Falls, ID—The No. 11-ranked SLCC Men's Basketball team (19-2, 7-0 SWAC) won its 15th straight game by defeating rival College of Southern Idaho (CSI) (15-7, 3-5 SWAC) 76-67 on Thursday. The Bruins out-rebounded the Eagles 51-42 and shot 40.3% from the field in the road victory. SLCC remains the only team without a loss in Scenic West Athletic Conference (SWAC) play and leads the season series with CSI 2-0.

SLCC sophomore guard Tyrell Corbin (Salt Lake City, UT) led the Bruins with 16 points to go with five assists. Freshman forward Sai Tummala (Phoenix, AZ) turned in a double-double with 13 points and 15 rebounds and freshman guard Gary Payton II (Las Vegas, NV) added 14 points and nine rebounds.

Next up for Head Coach Todd Phillips and the Bruins is the last of five straight road games as SLCC will take on No. 13-ranked North Idaho College (NIC) (19-3, 6-1 SWAC) on Saturday, Jan. 26 at 6 p.m. MT. SLCC rallied from a 15-point second half deficit to defeat NIC 75-74 on Jan. 3 at Bruin Arena.
