Price, UT—The SLCC Men's Basketball team (16-2, 4-0 SWAC) remains unbeaten in Scenic West Athletic Conference (SWAC) play after taking down in-state rival USU-Eastern (11-7, 2-2 SWAC) 75-57 on Thursday. The Bruins shot 49.1% from the field and out-rebounded the Golden Eagles 43-32 to win their 12th straight contest.

Bruin sophomore guard Tyrell Corbin (Salt Lake City, UT) scored 18 points, six of which came in the first half. Corbin was 5 of 8 shooting and was 8-for-10 from the free throw line with three rebounds. Freshman forward Sai Tummala (Phoenix, AZ) scored 12 points to go with four rebounds and freshman center Casey Oliverson tallied 10 points in the winning effort.

Next up for Head Coach Todd Phillips and the Bruins is a road matchup with Colorado Northwestern Community College (7-11, 0-3 SWAC) on Saturday, Jan. 12 at 5:00 p.m. in Rangeley, CO.
