Spencer Porter became the voice of the Bruins at Salt Lake Community College in August 2024. A graduate of Utah Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Media Studies and a minor in Sports Communication, Spencer brings a wealth of experience in play-by-play broadcasting, sports information, and media production.
Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Sports Management, Spencer is dedicated to furthering his expertise in sports operations and media. Before joining SLCC, he served as the Sports Director for 91.3 'The Blaze' at Utah Tech, where he covered football, basketball, baseball, and softball. He also interned with Trailblazer Sports Vision, producing professional interview packages and highlight videos.
In his current role, he provides dynamic play-by-play commentary for all Bruin home games and oversees post-game recaps for seven athletic teams, ensuring fans stay connected to the action.
