Brandon enters her third season as an assistant coach with Salt Lake Community College in 2024. Alongside head coach Marcilina Grayer, SLCC is 44-15 overall and 20-8 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.

The Bruins won the SWAC regular season championship in 2023-24, advancing to the Region 18 championship game before falling to USU Eastern. With Brandon’s guidance, six SLCC student-athletes have gone on to play at four-year institutions.

Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Brandon was a star athlete at Centennial High School. As the team’s only senior, she helped lead the Bulldogs to the 4A 2015 state title and was named Northwest MVP in her final prep year.

Following her distinguished prep career, then-assistant coach Grayer helped recruit Brandon to SLCC to continue her playing career. With Brandon in the fold, the Bruins women’s basketball team advanced to the NJCAA Elite 8 in 2016 and finished the year with a 31-3 record.

The following year, SLCC became the first Bruins women’s basketball team to reach the NJCAA Final Four. Brandon earned second-team Region 18 recognition while leading Salt Lake to a 30-6 overall record and 14-2 in SWAC play. The Bruins won the SWAC regular season championship in Brandon’s two seasons as a player. Brandon averaged 4.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.3 assists while shooting 42 percent over 58 games (50 starts) in Bruin blue and yellow.

Brandon finished her collegiate career at Colorado Mesa (2017-19). She averaged 6.7 points, 5.4 boards, and 2.3 assists in 59 starts for the Mavericks. Brandon earned a Master’s in Sports Management from Colorado Mesa in 2020.Â
