Jeff Sosa is the Esports Director and Head Coach for Salt Lake Community College Esports. Over the past three seasons, the Bruins earned several regional and national placements. Their most recent accolades and titles in the NJCAAE include two-time regional and national champions in Hearthstone, 1st regionally and 3rd place nationally in Overwatch 2, 3rd place nationally in Valorant, and 3rd place nationally in League of Legends.

Coach Sosa earned his bachelor’s in English education at BYU and a master’s in Sports Coaching at Ohio University. He will soon begin a doctorate in Education Technology at Boise State for Esports research. He also competed personally in Halo 2, Dead or Alive, StarCraft 2, and Hearthstone.
