Salt Lake Community College Bruins

Makaylie Moore is entering her fifth season as an assistant coach for the Salt Lake Community College Women’s Soccer Program. During her fourth season with the Bruins (2025), she helped guide SLCC to another outstanding campaign, as the team captured the Scenic West Athletic Conference (SWAC) regular-season championship and finished with a 15-3-3 overall record. The Bruins earned a sixth consecutive berth in the NJCAA National Tournament and finished the year ranked among the nation's top teams.

Moore joined the SLCC coaching staff in 2022 and was instrumental in one of the most successful stretches in program history. In 2024, the Bruins captured both the Scenic West Athletic Conference title and the Region 18 Tournament Championship before advancing to the NJCAA National Tournament. At Nationals, SLCC defeated the nation's top-ranked team to reach the Final Four, and the coaching staff was recognized as the United Soccer Coaches West Region Coaching Staff of the Year.

In addition to her work at SLCC, Moore serves as the Salt Lake Area Director for Utah Avalanche Soccer Club, where she oversees more than 40 teams in the U9–U19 girls and boys programs. She is also the head coach of the 2013 Utah Avalanche Girls ECNL team, helping develop young talent at the elite youth level.
As a player, Moore enjoyed an outstanding five-year career at BYU, helping the Cougars reach four consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances. Her signature performance came in 2021, when she scored two goals in the NCAA Elite Eight to send BYU to its first-ever College Cup. She went on to compete in the NCAA National Championship that same season.

Moore holds a USSF B License and an Advanced National Diploma. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Wellness from Brigham Young University.
