Price, Utah- No. 16 Salt Lake Men's Soccer (3-0-1) played to a 2-2 draw against USU-Eastern (2-1-2) in the 2026 conference opener.
The Eagles struck first as Andrew Guizar opened the scoring in the 38th minute. Esteban Fernandes equalized in the 75th minute on a penalty shot as the Bruins were awarded a pen after a hand ball in the box. Seconds later Noah Heil and USU-Eastern took the lead again. In the 84th minute Alan Guzman headed in the late equalizer off a free kick from just inside midfield.
The teams combined to have 7 shots on target. The Bruins had 10 corner kicks in the game and the Eagles had 9.
