Herriman, Utah- No. 3 Salt Lake (11-0-3, 8-0-3 SWAC) stayed unbeaten as the Bruins rallied to defeat Snow College 3-2.
The first half, similarly to the women's soccer game, had Snow (6–4-1 SWAC) leading 1-0 at the break. A great sequence of passes by the Badgers set up the goal for Michael Martinez in the 15th minute.
The Bruins regrouped and three minutes into the second half Taylor Kogan equalized for Salt Lake off a set piece. Alan Guzman gave Salt Lake the lead with a strong touch in the 55th minute off a great ball from Evan Beus. Guzman put the Bruins up 3-1 as he scored an effort goal by redirecting a pass from the Badgers goalkeeper. Alan has scored in five straight conference games and has recorded back to back braces. Guzman leads the SWAC with 12 goals this year.
Snow got one goal back as they converted on a penalty kick in the 83rd minute. Salt Lake had 6 shots on goal and 2 corner kicks. Mekhi Haughton-Parris notched another assist and leads the Bruins with 8 assists on the season.
