Council Bluffs, IOWA- Salt Lake Volleyball played four matches in two days at the Reiver Classic hosted by Iowa Western Community College. It was a strong showing for the Bruins as they won three out of four matches. 

Salt Lake lost the first match of the 2025 season in five sets to Butler Community College. 23-25, 25-20, 25-15, 24-26, 10-15

The Bruins bounced back as they beat Hutchinson Community College in four sets 22-25, 25-19, 25-16, 25-13

On Saturday Salt Lake swept both opponents as they defeated Western Nebraska Community College 25-10, 25-21, 25-14 The Bruins finished the weekend beating the hosts Iowa Western 25-23, 25-16, 25–15

Salt Lake Volleyball will have their first home matches of the season next week at their annual Crystal "Inn"vitiational. Salt Lake plays Eastern Florida State to begin the "Inn"vitational on August 28th at 9:30am.
