Cheyenne, WYOMING- No. 3 Salt Lake Women's Soccer (0–1-0) tied their first game of the season 1-1 against No. 13 Laramie County Community College (0–1-0). 

The first goal of this big matchup came from the Golden Eagles as freshman Victoria Espinoza scored in the 12th minute. Salt Lake equalized in the 73rd minute with a goal by sophomore Avery Thal off an assist from sophomore Nao Yamada. 

Salt Lake had five shots on target and sophomore goalie Elle Rafajko made five saves for the Bruins

SLCC Women's Soccer will have their home opener on Thursday August, 28th at 1:00 pm against Central Wyoming College. Home games are played at Bruin Field on the Redwood Campus.
