RANGELY, Colorado (Saturday, September 7, 2024)— Sixth-ranked Salt Lake fell in a disappointing 1-0 road result against Colorado Northwestern Community College. The Bruins opened Scenic West Athletic Conference play with a loss after going 11-1 in the SWAC in 2023. 

Lilly Wittwer assisted Amelia Warner in the game's only goal. Salt Lake outshot CNCC 17-6.

This was SLCC's first regular season shutout loss since September 2, 2021, when they lost 1-0 at Snow College. Salt Lake finished that season 16-4-1, falling to Tyler Junior College in the national semifinals.
