TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (Saturday, September 14, 2024)- No. 9 Salt Lake Women's Soccer (4-1, 2-1) got another conference win as they defeated USU Eastern 1-0.  

Freshman, Reika Yuba scored the games lone goal in the nineteenth minute with a beautiful strike from outside the box. Yuba has scored in back to back games for the Bruins.

Goalkeeper Elle Rafajko recorded her third clean sheet of the season. Rafajko and the Salt Lake defense also posted a shutout in Thursday's victory over Snow College. The Bruins have only allowed two goals the entire season.

Salt Lake will have two conference games on the road next week. Thursday, September 19 at 1:00 against Truckee Meadows Community College, and Saturday, September 21 at the College of Southern Idaho at 11:00 a.m.
