TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (Thursday, September 12, 2024)— No. 2 Salt Lake (4-0, 2-0) knocked off the visiting Snow College Badgers (3-1, 1-1) in a battle of unbeatens at Bruin Field on Thursday afternoon. 

Second-year defender Diego Vasquez gave the Bruins a late first-half lead when he beat Snow's Mathias Christensen in the 41st minute. 

Freshman forward Ali Merghemi added a second goal in the 74th minute on an assist from Saratoga Springs, Utah native Landon Huebner.

The Badgers took advantage of a loose ball in the box, beating Jaspers for an 88th-minute goal.

Salt Lake withstood a frantic final-minute push to pick up the 2-1 win.
