TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (Saturday, August 31, 2024)— No. 4 Salt Lake men's soccer (2-0) passed an early season test against No. 10 Casper College in a 2-0 win at Bruin Field.
A physical, defensively-focused first half left both teams frustrated heading to halftime after missed opportunities kept the match scoreless.
SLCC broke out in the second half, scoring a pair of goals, while Erick Jaspers picked up the clean sheet in goal.
Larry Noel, Igor Goncalves, and Josh Garcia picked up yellow cards for the Bruins.
