Taylorsville, Utah (August 30th, 2024) - Day one of the Crystal 'Inn'vitational resulted in two victories for the No. 5 Bruins volleyball team. 

The first match against Central Wyoming was all Bruins, as Salt Lake won in straight sets. Setter Myka Christensen was instrumental for the Bruins, recording five aces and 18 assists. 

Logan Lindsay totaled eleven kills on the outside, and middle blocker Julia Oberg tallied seven kills and five blocks for Salt Lake. 

Salt Lake won their second match vs. Butler Community College in straight sets as well. The attack of the Bruins was very balanced as Logan Lindsay, Ryen Smith, and Fuka Kikuchi finished with eight kills, seven kills, and six kills, respectively. Myka Christensen and Bella Houtz both posted double-digit assists.
