WEST JORDAN, Utah (Saturday, August 24,  2024) — Sixth-ranked Salt Lake women's soccer put on a show in its season-opening 4-0 win over visiting Laramie County Community College.

Japanese freshman Nao Yamada paced Salt Lake with two goals. Avery Thal and Mylee Carver also found the back of the net. 

Freshman Elle Rafajko started in goal and finished with a clean sheet, thanks in part to a dominating SLCC defensive effort.
