WICHITA, Kansas- No. 3 seed Salt Lake Men's Soccers' aspirations for a spot in the semifinals were dashed, as No. 6 seed Eastern Florida State scored a golden goal in the second overtime to win 1-0.
Both teams won their first game in pool play over Murray State College which meant the winner of today's game advanced to the semifinals.
After a scoreless regulation and first overtime, Lars Bekman redirected a free kick three minutes into the second overtime to win it for Eastern Florida State.
The Bruins had two shots on goal and Erick Jaspers saved four of the five shots Eastern Florida State put on target.
