TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (Saturday, October 5, 2024)— No. 7 Salt Lake took revenge for its only loss of the season, controlling every aspect of play in a 5-0 win over Colorado Northwestern.
Sophie Eckery got the scoring started less than two minutes in, turning a rebound into the match's first goal. Nao Yamada put SLCC in front 2-0 in the 15th minute on an assist from Eckery.
The Bruins dominated play throughout, adding three second-half goals. Reika Yuba found the back of the net early in the half, followed by a brace from Yamada. Megan Haws scored the first goal of her college career off a header in the 86th minute.
