COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho (Saturday, October 26, 2024)- Salt Lake Men's Soccer (15-0-1) forward Gabriel Miranda scored a brilliant goal in the 79th minute to help the No. 2 Bruins beat North Idaho 1-0 in Salt Lake's regular season finale. 

Midfielder Joon Han got a takeaway for the Bruins and dropped a pass off to Miranda. With plenty of time Miranda launched a powerful strike from outside the box for a stunning goal. 

Goalkeeper Ben Maw posted the clean sheet for the Bruins. 

Salt Lake's only draw of the season was against North Idaho back in late September. The Bruins clinched first place in the conference last week and improved to (13-0-1) in conference play with today's win.

Next week Salt Lake will host the Region 18 Regional's in Taylorsville, Utah. The semi-finals will take place on Thursday, October, 31st, at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. The Final will be on Saturday, November 2nd, at 2:00 p.m. All times are mountain daylight time.
