No. 11 Salt Lake Volleyball Cruise past CNCC

The Bruins pick up their sixth straight conference victory

RANGELY, Colorado (Friday, October 25, 2024)- No. 11 Salt Lake Volleyball (17-8, 6-2) handled Colorado Northwestern in straight sets for the Bruins sixth straight win. 

Sophomore Julia Oberg had six aces and six kills on eight attempts for Salt Lake. Freshman Ryen Smith led the Bruins with eight kills. 

Smith and freshman Havi Montano had two blocks respectively. Salt Lake had eleven different players record at least one kill in the victory. 

The Bruins have only dropped two sets throughout their six match win streak. Salt Lake beat CNCC in straight sets on October 11, in Taylorsville.

Salt Lake is back at home for the last two matches of the regular season. Friday, November 1st, versus USU Eastern at 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 2nd, against Snow College at 1:00 p.m.
