Salt Lake women's soccer sweep weekly conference awards

Whitney Garn, Jasmine Espinoza earn SWAC recognition

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (Wednesday, October 23, 2024)— The No. 7 Salt Lake women's soccer team swept the Scenic West Athletic Conference weekly awards after going 2-0 against Truckee Meadows CC and the College of Southern Idaho.

Sophomore Jasmine Espinoza earned SWAC Goalkeeper of the Week after playing the second half of two Bruins shutouts. 

Sophomore midfielder Whitney Garn was named SWAC Player of the Week after registering a goal in Salt Lake's 2-0 win over Southern Idaho. 

Up Next

Salt Lake travels to Kennewick, Washington, for a match against Pacific Northwest Community College on Thursday, October 24. The Bruins beat PNWCC 11-0 earlier this season in Taylorsville. The match begins at 1 p.m. MT.
