PRICE, Utah (Saturday, October 12, 2024)- No. 2 Bruins Men's Soccer (11-0-1, 9-0-1) defeated USU-Eastern 2-0, for Salt Lake's eighth victory of the season without conceding a goal. 

Salt Lake scored two early goals in the first half. The Bruins went up 1-0 on an own goal by USU-Eastern in the first minute of the game. Shortly after, the Bruins doubled up the Eagles when Nicola Brocca deflected a pass from Ali Merghemi for the second goal. 

Brocca has two goals on the season for the Bruins. Salt Lake is 5-0 on the road this season and went a combined 4-0 against their two in-state conference rivals.

Up Next
Salt Lake will be back home at Bruin Field next week on Thursday, October 17, at 3:30 p.m. against Truckee Meadows Community College. The Bruins will play at home versus Southern Idaho on Saturday, October 19.
