TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (September 19, 2023) -Â The non-conference season is officially over for the No. 7 Salt Lake Community College volleyball team, and it couldn't have ended any better.
SLCC posted a 3-0 win over Western Wyoming, winning by set scores of 25-20, 25-10, 25-18. The Bruins are now 12-5 overall after posting the victory.
Salt Lake dominated the match, hitting a crisp .234 and posting just 10 errors. In contrast, Western Wyoming had 24 errors in the match, struggling to gain momentum.Â
Tessa Treanor had 8 kills to lead SLCC. Brinlie Crosbie posted 6 aces, in addition to her 13 assists. Salt Lake also posted 8 blocks in the win.
The Bruins will open Scenic West Athletic Conference play Friday, hosting Southern Nevada. SLCC will then host Snow College on Saturday.Â
