TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (November 18, 2023) - The season is officially over the No. 4 Salt Lake Community College volleyball team.

Playing in the fifth place match of the NJCAA tournament in Kansas, Salt Lake dropped a 3-1 decision to No. 2 Northeastern Junior College, falling by set scores of 19-25, 25-21, 21-25, 19-25. The loss ends Salt Lake's record at 27-7 overall.

SLCC hit just .161 as a team in the loss, finishing with 24 errors. The Bruins also had eight service errors in the defeat. 

Tessa Treanor had 15 kills to lead Salt Lake, while Marija Tabak posted 11 kills. Brinlie Crosbie contributed 41 assists. Randi Reeves and Treanor both had 16 digs each. 

Salt Lake closed the 2023 season as the Scenic West Athletic Conference, NJCAA Region 18 and NJCAA Rocky Mountain District champions, respectively.
