TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (October 7, 2023) – A battle of nationally ranked in-state foes went the way of the No. 6 Salt Lake Community College volleyball team Saturday.

SLCC earned a 3-1 win at No. 11 USU Eastern, winning by set scores of 27-25, 12-25, 25-17, 25-23. The Bruins are now 17-5 overall and 5-0 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.

Salt Lake hit just .136 as a team in the win, posting 27 attack errors. Tessa Treanor had an outstanding performance in the victory, finishing with 20 kills and an ace. Brinlie Crosbie posted 35 assists.

SLCC will play a pair of road matches next weekend, starting at Snow College Thursday.
