TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (October 5, 2023) – A strong defensive performance lifted the No. 3 Salt Lake Community College men's soccer team to a Scenic West Athletic Conference win Thursday.
SLCC earned a 2-0 victory over Southern Nevada, posting its fourth shutout victory of league play. The Bruins are now 11-0-1 overall and 7-0-1 in Scenic West play.
Bony Ulurich got the Bruins on the board in the 25th minute, while Joseph Picotto turned a Finn Jacobs assist into a goal in the 71st minute. Salt Lake goalkeeper Ben Williams had a masterful outing, posting five saves in the win.
SLCC will travel for road matches the final two weeks of the season.
