TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (September 6, 2022) – The No. 6 Salt Lake Community College Volleyball team earned a strong victory over a nationally ranked foe in a non-conference match Tuesday.
 
SLCC picked up a 3-0 win over No. 12 Missouri State – West Plains, earning the victory with set scores of 25-18, 25-23, 25-21. The Bruins are now 10-2 overall.
 
Salt Lake hit a crisp .265 in the win, posting just 14 hitting errors. SLCC's efficient offensive attack was led by Laura Fiabane, who posted 41 assists in the win.
 
Sammy Perry finished with 13 kills to lead Salt Lake, while Sandora Sasaki had 12 kills. Annie Michaelis also contributed 11 kills.
 
The Bruins will travel to play in a tournament in Twin Falls, Idaho this upcoming weekend, playing matches on Friday and Saturday.
