TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (September 28, 2022) – The good times keep on rolling for the No. 3 Salt Lake Community College Volleyball team.
SLCC traveled to face a longtime regional foe Wednesday, driving away with a 3-0 victory in a match with the College of Southern Idaho after winning by set scores of 25-11, 25-16, 25-20. The Bruins are now 18-2 overall and 3-0 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play after the victory.
Salt Lake was efficient throughout the victory, finishing with a hitting percentage of .327 and committing just nine errors in the dominant win. Conversely, Southern Idaho hit just .085 and had 21 errors.
Sammy Perry had a team-high 15 kills, while
Laura Fiabane had 36 assists.
Charity Wilson had 8 kills for SLCC.
Salt Lake will play host to a non-conference battle of regional foes on Friday, facing No. 11 Central Wyoming at 6:00 p.m. inside the Lifetime Activities Center.
