TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (September 1, 2022) – The No. 2 Salt Lake Community College Men's Soccer team opened Scenic West Athletic Conference play with one of the year's most impressive wins, nationally.
SLCC earned a 1-0 win over No. 14 Snow College in double overtime Thursday, downing its in-state rival in extra time. The victory lifts the Bruins to 3-0 overall and 1-0 in Scenic West play.
In a match that went back-and-forth, it was Salt Lake who held an 11-5 advantage in total shots, with SLCC holding an 8-4 margin in shots-on-goal. Then in the 105
th minute, SLCC's Damien Arguello found the back of the net to give the Bruins a victory.
