Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (August 26, 2022). – The No. 11 Salt Lake Community College Volleyball team earned a sweep in Friday's non-conference action.
 
SLCC posted a 3-0 win over No. 20 Hill College and a 3-0 win over Panola College, lifting the Bruins to 2-1 in a Texas tournament. Salt Lake is now 5-1 overall. 
 
The Bruins will close the tournament on Saturday with a match against Indian Hills.
 
Salt Lake 3, Hill 0: The Bruins earned a 25-10, 25-17, 25-19 win to open the day's action.
 
Anastasia Tuifua finished with a hitting percentage of .387 to lead the Bruins, posting 15 kills and 3 aces. Laura Fiabane posted 40 assists, while Randi Reeves finished with 18 digs.
 
Salt Lake 3, Panola 0: SLCC closed the day's action with a 26-24, 25-12, 25-16 victory over Panola.
 
Sandora Sasaki hit .448, finishing with 13 kills. Charity Wilson posted 5 aces and 7 kills in the victory. The Bruins hit .260 as a team.
