Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (August 20, 2022) – A battle of NJCAA contenders did not go the way of the No. 4 Salt Lake Community College Women's Soccer team Saturday.
 
SLCC fell in a 3-2 battle with No. 1 Eastern Florida, closing a two-game set in Florida against nationally ranked foes with a mixed record of 0-1. Salt Lake's scheduled opener against Daytona State was canceled Thursday due to inclement weather.
 
Both Taylor O'Farrell and Kenna Sparks scored goals for SLCC in the loss. 
 
Salt Lake will close its preseason competition schedule on August 27 against Central Wyoming.
