No. 4 Bruins fall in thriller with No. 10 Snow

Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (October 15, 2022) – A critical match in the Scenic West Athletic Conference ended in a rare loss for the No. 4 Salt Lake Community College Women's Soccer team.
 
The Bruins fell in on Saturday at No. 10 Snow College, dropping a 4-2 decision to split the season series with Snow, 1-1. Salt Lake is now 8-2 overall and 7-1 in Scenic West play.
 
Snow controlled the match early, taking a 2-0 lead at halftime. SLCC fought back in the second half, tying the match at 2-2 after goals by Aly Starbuck and Lexi Vernsey, with Vernsey assisted by Hadlie Bullock. Unfortunately, Snow scored a late goal and then scored on a penalty to earn the win. 
 
The Bruins will host Truckee Meadows next week in Taylorsville.
