Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (October 14, 2022) – Any time you have a match with a nationally ranked foe, it's a cause for focus; however, when the match has implications with regional and conference outcomes, it adds more than a little weight.
The No. 1 Salt Lake Community College Volleyball team experienced that Friday inside the Lifetime Activities Center, playing host to No. 7 Snow College. When it was all said, the No. 1 Bruins stayed unbeaten in Scenic West play, earning a 3-0 win by set scores of 25-19, 32-30, 25-18. SLCC is now 22-2 overall and 6-0 in Scenic West matches.
A thrilling match from the beginning, the high point came in a pivotal second set between the two programs. Both teams went back-and-forth, with SLCC taking a 23-20 lead. Snow battled back to take a 24-23 lead, prior to the Bruins launching their own comeback. Salt Lake eventually claimed the set on a

SLCC hit .174 as a team in the win, with the Bruins posting 41 kills and forcing 25 Snow attack errors.
Sammy Perry finished with 13 kills to lead Salt Lake, while
Randi Reeves had 15 digs.
Laura Fiabane posted 35 assists.
Salt Lake will play host to Southern Nevada on Saturday. The match is scheduled for a 1:00 p.m. start inside the Lifetime Activities Center.
