TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (April 2, 2021) – The 2021 season is off to a good start for the No. 9 Salt Lake Community College women's soccer team.
 
SLCC picked up a 13-0 win over Trinidad State in non-conference action at Zions Bank Stadium in Herriman, playing its first sanctioned match since November 2019. This match served as Salt Lake's only non-conference match in the shortened season.
The Bruins earned at halftime, with Salt Lake posting all 13 goals in the first half. 
Ashlyn Hall finished with a game-high two goals for SLCC, with the Bruins taking just 5:39 to score in the match. Salt Lake finished with 33 shots in the match, taking 21 shots-on-goal. 
Hannah Lee finished with a team-high five shots, while Hall and 
Cassidy Adams accumulated three shots-on-goal apiece. 
Katrina Gardner earned the save. 
 
Salt Lake will open Scenic West Athletic Conference play next week at No. 5 Snow College.
