TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (March 10, 2021) - The No. 13 Salt Lake Community College volleyball team returned home Wednesday, earning a Scenic West Athletic Conference win.

The Bruins picked up a 3-0 win, winning by set scores of 25-18, 25-12, 25-8. The victory boosts SLCC's overall record to 11-5 and 5-1 in Scenic West play.

Halle Johnston led Salt Lake with 10 kills, with Anastasia Tuifua and Rachael Warren hit .500. Hikialani Kaohelaulii led the Bruins with 20 digs, also contributing 5 digs. SLCC hit .319 as a team, finishing with 9 blocks and forcing Southern Idaho into 24 errors. 

Salt Lake will have the weekend off, with a matchup against nationally-ranked USU Eastern next week on the calendar.
