Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (February 5, 2021) – A two-match road swing ended with a win for the No. 13 Salt Lake Community College volleyball team on Friday.
SLCC downed Hill College 3-1 on Friday, winning by set scores of 25-19, 25-20, 20-25, 25-18. The win boosts Salt Lake to 3-2 overall in the preseason.
The Bruins played consistently throughout the match, finishing with a team hitting percentage of .297.
Halle Livingston led SLCC with 12 kills, hitting .417 individually.
Kenadee Christensen also had a strong day at the net, finishing with 10 kills.
On the defensive side,
Hikialani Kaohelaulii led the team with 19 digs.
Sidney Frith posted 19 assists, while
Carlie Peterson finished with 17 assists.
Gwen Russell, Anastasia Tuifui and
Rachael Warren all finished with five digs apiece.
Salt Lake will play in a tournament hosted by Eastern Wyoming College next weekend.
