No. 13 SLCC Volleyball falls on road to No. 4 Navarro

Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (February 4, 2021) – The No. 13 Salt Lake Community College volleyball program opened a two-game road swing through Texas with a loss Thursday.
 
The Bruins fell 3-1(23-25, 22-25, 25-22,14-25)  to No. 4 Navarro College on the road. The loss drops SLCC's overall record to 2-2, marking the first matches in nearly two weeks for Salt Lake. 

Salt Lake coach Sue Dulaney said her team played well against strong competition.

"We learned valuable lessons tonight against the reigning champs," she said. "We will bounce back and be ready for tomorrow's match."
 
SLCC's Sammi Johnston finished with a double-double of 10 kills and 11 digs, while Kenadee Christensen hit .278 with 8 kills and 4 blocks. Hikialani Kaohelaulii led the team with 18 digs, while Rachael Warren had 7 blocks.  

Salt Lake will play a match against Hill College on Friday.
