Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (October 7, 2021) – The No. 4 Salt Lake Community College Women's Soccer team fell in heartbreaking fashion Thursday, dropping an overtime contest to an in-state rival Thursday.
 
SLCC fell in a tight loss at USU Eastern, dropping a 1-0 match to the Lady Eagles in overtime. With the loss, Salt Lake will move to 6-3-1 overall and 4-3 in Scenic West Athletic Conference standings.
 
In a match that was a contrast of styles, Salt Lake's attacking nature didn't take root, with the Bruins holding a 30-2 edge in total shots. Instead, it was USU Eastern goalkeeper Macy Clements who starred in the win, finishing with 12 saves. Addie McLean earned the win for USU Eastern with a goal in the 93^rd minute of the match. 
 
Salt Lake will play another road match this weekend, playing at Colorado Northwestern.
