No. 15 SLCC Volleyball returns home, looking to rebound

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (October 24, 2019) - The No. 15 Salt Lake Community College volleyball team is returning home, looking forward to having some positive vibes inside the Lifetime Activities Center.

In a series of road matches over the past few weeks, SLCC has finished with a record of 2-3 with losses to nationally-ranked competition and longtime regional foes. As the Bruins return home for a pair of matches against Southern Nevada and () Snow, the team is looking to change its trajectory.

SLCC coach Sue Dulaney said the program is looking forward to a rebound with the home-court advantage.

"We're glad to be home to finish out conference," she said. "Thursday is our 'Dig Pink' night, with Saturday serving as our 'Autograph/Club Night' with free rally towels to club kids. Our athletes will sign posters afterwards."

The Bruins have had mixed results against this weekend's competition. Salt Lake downed Southern Nevada 3-0 in a match in North Las Vegas earlier this season and fell to Snow College, 3-0, in a match in Ephraim. Southern Nevada has yet to win a match in league play, sitting at just 4-16 on a 10-match losing streak. Snow College is the exact opposite, sitting with a 26-2 overall record and a mark of 6-0 in the Scenic West.

Salt Lake will play Southern Nevada on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. on 'Dig Pink Night' inside the Lifetime Activities Center. The match against Snow is scheduled for Saturday at 1:00 p.m., with the match also serving as 'Autograph Night' with the team.
