Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (October 19, 2019) – The No. 10 Salt Lake Community College volleyball team ended a two-match road trip mixed with a loss to an in-state rival Saturday.
 
Playing in a Scenic West Athletic Conference road match at in-state rival USU Eastern, Salt Lake fell in a 3-1 loss (19-25, 20-25, 25-23, 22-25) to move to 21-8 overall. SLCC's record in the Scenic West Athletic Conference is now 4-3. 
 
 Allie Beck, Sammi Johnston and Ariane Pola all finished with 11 kills to lead Salt Lake. Holland Vande Merwe had a team-high 21 digs, while Sidney Frith finished with 26 assists. 
 
Salt Lake will host a pair of matches next weekend inside the Lifetime Activities Center. First, the Bruins will host the College of Southern Nevada on Thursday with a scheduled start time of 7:00 p.m. SLCC will play No. 5 Snow College in a critical match on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
