Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (October 18, 2019) - The best regular season in Salt Lake Community College women's soccer program history ended Friday with a victory.
The No. 5 Bruins picked up a 7-0 win over Truckee Meadows Community College to finish the regular season with a record of 10-0-2 - the program's best record in the regular season. The program also claimed second-consecutive Scenic West Athletic Conference title with a mark of 8-0-2.Â

Cassidy Adams scored a goal in the 4th minute to take an early lead. The Bruins lead 2-0 at halftime before
Baylie Saunders scored just moments into the second half to up the lead.
Sarah Spencer scored a pair of goals to up the lead to 5-0 minutes later, followed up by a pair goals in the span of minutes.
Kendall Bell scored the final goal, scoring in the the 78th minute to deliver the knockout punch.Â
Statistically, the Bruins dominated the match with a 25-1 edge in shots and a 16-1 edge in shots-on-goal.
Whitney Turner led Salt Lake with 6 shot attempts. Defensively,
Siuana Pauni finished with a save in a shutout victory.Â
Salt Lake will be the top seed in the upcoming Region 18 championships, which will be played on November 1-2 at Zions Bank Stadium in Herriman. The Bruins are also the defending Region 18 champions.Â
