If that's the primary mark, the Salt Lake Community College soccer programs have arrived, with victories for both the men's and women's programs on Friday lifting each squad to 4-0 on the season. The Bruins' women's program earned a 4-0 win over Trinidad State, while the men's program downed the 17th-ranked Trinidad State men's program by a score of 6-0.
Salt Lake will host Sheridan College on Sunday at Zions Bank Stadium in Herriman. The Bruin women's program will play at 12:00 p.m., with the men's program playing at 2:00 p.m.Â
Salt Lake 6, Trinidad State 0: The Bruin men's program earned a strong victory over the 17th-ranked team in the nation, picking up another resume-building win.
Enoch Mushagalusa earned his second hat trick of the young season, scoring three goals.
Jonny Guadarrama also scored a pair of goals for SLCC, with
Ntezey Swalita scoring a single goal as well.
Salt Lake 4, Trinidad State 0: Four separate players scored goals for SLCC, helping the Bruins to the strong win.Â
Zoe Moses posted an early goal, while
Summer Miles scored a goal.
Kamryn Worthington scored a goal later in the match to help cement the victory, with
Samantha Tippetts also scoring a late goal.Â
