Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (October 19, 2018) - History happened in the state of Utah Friday, with the No. 14 Salt Lake Community College women's soccer program earning its first-ever conference title.

The Bruins earned a share of the Scenic West Athletic Conference title with a nail-biting 1-0 victory over in-state rival USU Eastern Friday, finishing the season with an overall record of 12-1-1 and a league record of 7-1-1. SLCC finished the regular season tied with Snow College in the league standings.

Salt Lake's only goal came off a Madison Schmidt goal, with the freshman picking up an unassisted goal. The Bruins earned their 11th shutout of the season with the win.
