TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (September 27, 2017) – For the 12
th-ranked Salt Lake Community College Bruins, challenges have come and gone throughout the season.
Whether it was injuries, travel or highly-ranked foes in Bruin Arena, the Bruins have had a knack for surviving the biggest possible challenges thrown at them. SLCC already hosted the top-ranked team in the country, and now the Bruins will host the second-ranked team in America this weekend, as Salt Lake welcomes College of Southern Idaho for a Friday SWAC match.
The Golden Eagles are ranked at second in this week's polls, having lost only one match this season (to top-ranked Miami Dade). CSI sits at 19-1, with a record of 2-0 in their SWAC matches this season after sweeping through Snow College and Southern Nevada.
The SLCC-CSI tilt Friday is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start inside Bruin Arena. The match will be streamed at live.ksl.com and live stats will be available at slccbruins.com. The Bruins will play only one match this weekend due to this being a travel-partner weekend.
