Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (September 23, 2017) – A chilly day in Salt Lake City proved to be a theme for the SLCC Bruins men's soccer program, as the Bruins had a chilly offensive performance as they fell to in-state SWAC rival Snow College Saturday.

Tied at 1-1 after regulation, the Bruins and Badgers slugged it out in extra time, with Snow's Jose Pena giving the Badgers a 2-1 lead in the match's 102
nd minute. Both teams were even in several categories throughout the contest, with both ending with nine shots. Snow finished with five shots-on-goal though, besting Salt Lake's two shots.

Snow took an early 1-0 lead, with Felipe Novellini scoring in the match's 19
th minute. Salt Lake countered in the 67
th minute with a goal by
Gabriel Sanchez, tying the match at 1-1.

The Bruins' record now sits at 5-4-1 overall, with a record of 3-3 in SWAC play. Salt Lake will compete in twin matches at the College of Southern Nevada next weekend, with Friday's match scheduled for 1:00 p.m. in Henderson, Nev.
