Box Score 2 TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (September 16, 2017) – The second weekend of SWAC play turned out to be a continuation of good feelings for Salt Lake Community College women's soccer, as the Bruins picked up a 3-0 win over USU-Eastern in Price.

Salt Lake is now 4-0 in SWAC play, with an overall record of 6-1 on the season. The Bruins are on a five-match winning streak, going back to a Sept. 2 win over Iowa Western. SLCC has not allowed a goal in four SWAC matches, with a goal differential of 44-0.
Kamryn Worthington opened the scoring for SLCC, netting a goal in the match's eighth minute.
Chloe Hendrickson added one just minutes later to give the Bruins a 2-0 lead, before
Sydney Hathaway scored right before halftime to give Salt Lake its 3-0 differential. Hathaway finished with three goals in the weekend action in Price.Â
The Bruins held a 10-3 advantage in shots-on-goal. Both Hendrickson and Meaghan Walker finished with assists for Salt Lake.Â

The Bruins host Snow College next weekend at the Taylorsville Campus, with a match time of 3:00 p.m. scheduled for Friday.

USU-EASTERN 1, SLCC 0 – The Bruins fell in another close matchup, falling 1-0 to the Golden Eagles in Price Saturday.
USU-Eastern's Matt Clark scored a goal in the match's 31st minute, giving the Golden Eagles the go-ahead score. Salt Lake would hold a 14-7 advantage in shots-on-goal, but like Friday, the Bruins were simply unable to find the back of the net. USU-Eastern goalie Austin Munoz had to make four different saves on goals.Â

The Bruins were swept for the first time this season, falling to 2-2 in SWAC play and 4-3-1 in overall play. Salt Lake hosts Snow College Friday in a SWAC weekend doubleheader, with a match time of 1:00 p.m. Friday.Â
